do you have any experience with Powerplate Vibration Training and Diabetes (Type1)

I was thinking of buying a Powerplate Machiene to improve blood circulation in the skin, muscles etc...

Are there any dangers for us as Diabetics?

Power Plate and Diabetes
It is generally accepted that regular physical exertion will lead to an improved physical and mental condition. Heart and muscles will perform better, stamina will improve. The average glucose levels will not change significantly in people with diabetes even when exercising regularly. However, it may lead to a decrease in the need for additional insulin, due to a more efficient “performance” of the insulin the body produces.
The Power Plate is not by definition unsuitable for people with diabetes. We do however advise against training until a doctor or specialist has been consulted. The Power Plate can be a very good tool for diabetes patients, helping them to improve their physical fitness, their circulation and their sense of well-being, as well as to lose weight.
What to avoid:
Severe diabetes is a contraindication for any kind of exercise, including training on the Power Plate. Because of the rapid drop in the glucose level, patients may experience a hypo, which may be risky. Power Plate International urge people to consult with a doctor or specialist prior to exercising. Neither is it advisable if the glucose level is extremely high. We also recommend avoiding excessive intensity and volume of training, since this could very easily make the blood glucose level drop. This can sometimes compromise the safety of training and enhance the risk of falling from dizziness or fainting. If you take insulin, you may have to avoid exercising immediately after an injection and wait for a few hours.
What to do:
With diabetic patients it is especially important to drink at least 300 cc about half an hour before the session, preferably a drink containing sugar (obviously depending on glucose levels) as training on the Power Plate will make the glucose level drop very quickly. It is advisable to ensure that the person has enough energy to train, so eating something before using the Power Plate is also recommended. In case the person does experience a hypo after all, it is sensible to keep a sugary drink or snack at hand (soda, sports drink, dextrose, etc.).
Guidelines for exercises and execution:
Once patients with diabetes have been cleared for strength training, they can start the same Power Plate routine as anyone else. A gentle approach is advisable. Once used to it the training routine should include movement preparation (to increase the body temperature and the awareness of the central nervous system), stability and coordination (to improve the body’s ability to stabilize), strength (to boost the metabolism, anabolic hormonal response and energy level), core and pillar (since this is essential to every form of movement), and recovery and regeneration (since massage is optimal to improve circulation in the lower extremities of the body, often negatively affected by diabetes).
