So has anyone that is Type 1 diabetic been told that pre-eclampsia and Type 1 diabetes go "hand-in-hand" with each other?
I ask because we are trying to conceive our second child. I had pre-eclampsia with my son who is 8 months old but was delivered 6 weeks early. Luckily he had no delays and is actually ahead on some things but right where he should be on others.

People get pre-eclampsia all the time who arent' d. But I do think to once you have had it once, it does put you at a higher risk of getting it again, like anything D and pregnancy related I'd advise a really good Dr who specializes in managing high risk pregnancies, keeping your bs under really tight control, all lots of interaction between your Endo and your OB.
