LOL - You'll pry my red meat out of my cold, dead hands, Starfire.

I was sitting one point above anemia for years. They never would let me donate blood. The only thing that helped me was starting to eat red meat again.

Sorry no dice:)

I'll bring the low carb steak sauce, and the BBQ grill. Just got my A1c results 5.3. It used to be 14.7. Red meat eater, in the house....LOL

Hey, congrats on being a 5%-er Rob. That's great!

This looks more like a majority of deli meats and it is known by studies that these are not good and can result in higher incidence of cancer. I got really mad when I read a study that called "all beef hotdogs" equal to "red meat"...wow, was it set up by a group trying to destroy the reputation of real red meat? It is a truly a confounding factor to call hot dogs red meat, just because they have "all beef" in the name, as they are full of all sorts of garbage....the words "all beef" are highly suspect. That is not a valid study in my mind but one created to give red meat a bad outcome probably by a group who wanted to make that point. The study included deli meats in the category called red meat.
Don't trust any study until you find out WHO is paying for it and what their potential bias is.
I am a ground beef fan and use a George Foreman grill with removeable grill plates for easy cleaning.
