TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

SO i've had the inevitable "it's just a respiratory virus, not the flu" thing since Sunday.
Lots of fluids and mucinex and nyquil is all the doctor ordered.
I've had some small ketones, ughh, small appetite, mild fever.
What does everyone else do to make it through this time of year ?

Plenty of rest. Drink gatorade or sip on it when you get sick. I had the swine flu and I couldn't eat or drink hardly, so I sipped gatorade at much as possible.

Fluids, rest & testing. Also, trying hard not to freak out at high BG.

Hope you feel better soon!
