"Smiths Medical announced its intent to stop manufacturing and selling the Deltec Cozmo® insulin pump, effective March 25, 2009, and manage a well-controlled exit from the Diabetes business over time.

We have set up a web site for pump users and healthcare professionals affected by this announcement. Smiths Medical is providing this information and will post updates when needed, as part of its commitment to providing the best possible customer support during this transition.

As always, in the United States, you can reach our customer support specialists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1-800-826-9703.
If you live outside of the United States, then you can continue to contact your local supplier; a list of our international distributors can be found by on the update web site.

Wow, this comes as a huge surprise. We really love this pump. I know we'll be fine with another pump, but we've really become so used to this one. I can't tell you how many times we've recommended the Cozmo to people because it's so kid- friendly. This is dissapointing.
