Im (crossing my fingers and preparing) going to run a 3 day stage 60M race in mid June. I just realized I need to plan on the 3hr time loss. I take synthroid in the a.m. Im also on shots so I take my lantus does in the a.m. also. Ive heard you shouldnt change dosage time by a lot or you run into issues. Anyone know if this is true? Today i made out a plan to take it 4hrs earlier in 45days from now...15 min earlier for 3 days at a time... Is that too drastic? Anyone know if itll cause lack of energy issues? Anyone have a better suggestion other than I should have thought of this earlier?! :)

What do you mean by time loss? Is the race in a different time zone?

yes the race is in Tennessee. 3hrs ahead. so at 8am start my body time is 5. normally i take my thyroid at 6 and lantus at 7....

That is how I would do it... Did you ask your Dr or a nurse? sounds like a very challenging race. Best wishes and have fun!

Are you also asking about your Synthroid? Wondering since you mentioned a possible lack of energy.
