Dear members of the TuDiabetes family,
We are finally sporting our new look and feel on TuDiabetes. Here's a list of some of the things that changed:
All decisions to move things around, what to feature more (or less), which sub-categories to include within each navigation category (where applicable), have been rooted on data of site usage for the past year.
A couple of other things:
As announced at the beginning of the year the personal profile pages have now been reset to match the same look and feel of the home page. Please follow the instructions on this tutorial if you want to experiment with giving your profile page a personal touch.
If you have any questions or if you are seeing anything abnormal (things that do not looking OK on your browser), please report the issue by replying to this topic or use the "Contact Us" form at the footer. Where possible, please include a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing.

Permalink Reply by Judith on January 17, 2012 at 10:49pm PS---not so easy to find the NW USA group, though, and that does not facilitate making connections which is a lot of what we are about. That old map helped, I think. I'll keep exploring, but, well, this could be detrimental in some ways. I think the regional connections are very important...

Permalink Reply by Andreina Davila on January 18, 2012 at 12:45pm Judith, we will restore that map on the top navigation under groups. Thanks for the feedback!

Permalink Reply by Judith on January 18, 2012 at 1:17pm Blessings---you folks really are quite amazing. After my Feb surgery, I'm going to try change the Oregon Meetup profile into a group and hope for that to be linked to the map, too. Emily W. has been helping me figure that out.....
Permalink Reply by Trudy on January 18, 2012 at 2:00pm My Profile Page doesn't seem to have a comment box -- odd!

Permalink Reply by Doris D on January 18, 2012 at 2:08pm Defantly not my day for the computer or spelling here. LOL! But anyway to answer Manny & jrt back. Yes I kinda belive u jrt, Manny I figured it out! LOL!
Permalink Reply by Trudy on January 18, 2012 at 4:49pm Hi again. I see the comment wall, but I don't see a box for someone to use to leave me a comment. Or maybe I'm missing something?

Permalink Reply by Judith on January 18, 2012 at 5:30pm Any cnance that with all these great changes, Ning might finally fix the links in our Nutshell updates? Everyday, twice a day, there are these great posts there. Sometimes I can come here and find them in the forum. Sometimes not. I CAN still come in through the bottom of the page comments, but then I have to roam around.....

Permalink Reply by Judith on January 18, 2012 at 6:53pm Oh---I think I'm with Trudy. At the verrrrrry bottom of my page are comments and something that says I can comment on my own comments, but I don't quite see how a visitor comments.....Plus, well, I'd rather comments be more accessible. Maybe I can adjust that individually. Haven't explored that yet......

Permalink Reply by Doris D on January 20, 2012 at 10:56am OK gotta say this...You guys are sooooo far over my head! LOL! I gotta get my daughter in here to explain all u guys have said on these pages to me! LOL!

Permalink Reply by Judith on January 25, 2012 at 9:14pm Hooray, I changed my header. Boohoo, couldn't seem to click appropriately to change background color or other stuff. I think maybe I'm not sure of terminology. But tomorrow, I will read the tutorial more closely. My Mom taught us well: "when all else fails, read the directions!"......
