I know you all are not doctors, but i had a c peptide test done and i am not making any more insulin. But when i take my insulin i have really bad hypo's all the time, and my bg is rarely high, does anyone know what can be going on? Have anyone else out there every experienced this.

Jim has a good point, Tiera. When I was on too high a basal rate I went low on a regular basis shortly before I was due for a meal. When I took too much bolus I was low after eating as the food couldn't keep up with the insulin I'd injected, so this might give you a clue as to which is the "culprit".

It does in a very practical way. It is only $11 on Amazon. You should be able to find it at any bookstore. It is a very different way of learning about the "real" challenges.

Tiera,
like mentioned by the other members that basically means your dosage is off. We can't help you with that, you should see a doctor or go to an educational class to get you set on the right ratio.
