Ive been a type1 for 12 years now and went for a review at the hospital yesterday.
I have been telling the docs for years that I simply cannot lose weight and yesterday a new med regime was suggested! Yay!
Shots of novorapid, levemir (currently on lantus/glargine) and metformin tablets (to reduce my insulin resistance)

Anyone else on such a regime? How has it worked for you!?

I am quite excited about trying new Meds as recently I've struggled with random blood
Glucose readings :/

Any advice would be great! Thanks,
Danie

Wishing you success with Metformin. Symlin also helps with weight loss & decreasing insulin doses.
Thank You :)!
