i am not able to manage my diabetes... its reaches 258 at night... i exercise like a bull gone wild for 30 to 40 minutes after which it comes to around 200 , 106 in morning at 7, 150 after walk :(n moreover its 309 after breakfast even after taking 35 units(human mixtard 30/70)....though i jst hve 1 chapati wth a cup of milk :( tht to without adding any flavour to it:(.....

Hii Thanks for connecting.. i agree diabetes require some extra efforts and attention but with proper cotrol/management, life is absolutely normal.. if ur current insulin is unable to control the post-meal hike u shld consider changing it as ur doctor recommends. I used to hve 50/50 earlier, bcoz 30/70 didnt suited me. Now i m using basal-bolus regimen(Humalog/Novorapid for short acting and Lantus for long acting) which provide the much needed flexibility in meals. I have always got HBA1C between 5 and 6.2%.. one can have sweet things but in moderate amount..
So just remember Diabetes is not a disease, it just that we people are a bit more sweet than others :-) Tke cre..
