TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

Recently, I had my A1C done. The results were surprisingly great. I was expecting it to be worse, because my eating habits have gone downhill as of late. So have you had an A1C as of late that was not quite what you expected? good or bad?

Wonderful test result , congrats.

I was disappointed with my last result of 2 weeks ago , always want it lower and it was NOT ; ....however I think I am on to something good .The thing I had done differently : I had been inserting my infusion set manually for about 3 months and decided to start using the serter and voila ..I am a slender type 1 and the angle of the canula by using the serter is giving me a better delivery of insulin ...so give me another 2 1/2 months and we see if this was the reason .
