Sorry I haven't replied to my last discussion.
I had heart surgery on Friday and kinda been out of it.
11staples and 20 stitches later I'm home and doing good.
Just tired and sore.
My life revolves around pain pills and blood sugar checks but I'm as good as I can be with having surgery.(:

Glad you're "just" tired and sore. Wish you a quick and easy recovery!!

I wish you well. You seem to be much too young to be dealing with heart surgery! Take care of yourself.

I was born with two holes in my heart causing me to have to have them repatched every few years.

My aunt has something like that and, like you, goes in for a "tune-up" every couple of years. A couple of times ago, people apparently came from all around the world to watch whatever the procedure was, as it was something fancy. You are extremely tough!

Yes you are tough you young strong, pretty lady. You are in my prayers!!

God bless,
Brunetta

Back in the hospital. Went last night for low low bg and ripped 4 staples out on accident. Staying another night. Having some heart rate issues. They compared it to a baby's heart when it's like in destress when a mom has a contraction. When I'm in pain my heart rate drops an they wanna make sure everything is fine. And they are gonna keep my bgs good which will help me heal faster

Sending lots of positive thoughts your way Kelsey!

Thank you for all the positive thoughts! Makes me feel better cause I'm pretty down. Can't do anything right.

It sure doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. It sounds a lot more like you are doing the best you can under tough circumstances. I am sending you all the "get well vibes" I can muster.
