if you want to see how 1carb unit for food products look like, i discovered a really nice app which show in picture how much 1 unit represents. Nice to know that 15 strawberries is 1 carb, or hamburger is 2 carb units.... look on ITune store...sweetbee carbcounter. http://itunes.apple.com/be/app/sweetbee/id384056025?mt=8

Sorry, I don't understand. 15 strawberries are about 14 grams of carbs or more, depending on their size. A plain hamburger (no bun) is zero carbs.
for the strawberries I count 260g for 1 carb unit (12,5gr carbohydrates) , so we both are right is suppose... the size of the strawberries is of course also a variable factor, but they (sweetbee) take the avarage size.
The hamburger is the complete stuff...buns, salad, included :-) without the french fries of course :-(
Oh, they're talking about carb exchanges, not carb counts. Confused because of the title "carb counter" & exchange system is an old concept for a new app. Thanks.
I suppose in Europe we're a little bit behind ;-)
Nah, we all just have different ways of looking at it.
as long as the strawberries are tasty it doesn't make a big diference ;-)
Yum!
