Ping!!! Don't' worry you will learn as you go. I get great support from Animas and from my trainer. The day I received mine I almost sent it back. The box of just the info for use was huge. I am a nurse and I thought, "I'm not ready for this". After my trainer came out I began to feel like, "ok, I can do this". The biggest point of advice that I can give you is. "take your time". It will get better everyday and you will feel like a pro before you know it. One of the reasons that I use the pump is I can adjust it me "me". I work very close with my endocrinologist to maintain a BG that works for me and my body. I have Lupus and for me that magic number is 100-120BG.
You will be fine! I love it and it has made a world of difference in controlling my BG and I have more freedom to come and go,I don't have to hurry home anymore to test and eat. (I try not to eat out if at all possible). Good Luck Hunter.
