Clearly no one EVER proofreads any more. Just pick up any daily newspaper and you can find errors everywhere -- not the ones a spell checker would pick up, the kind that only proofreading would catch. Which proves that they don't do it.
Oh don't get me started on my biggest peeve!
I actually do servings for myself like 5, Marie, because I want to make the smallest serving that feels like enough. My technique is to cut whatever it is into quarters then take a little sliver from each quarter to make the 5th serving. It works fine.
