One of my fondest childhood memories was going to the web site thisiswhyyourefat.com to look at the food porn. You can read up on some of the highlights which include a 30,000 Calorie Sandwich (ground beef, bacon, corn dogs, ham, pastrami, roast beef, bratwurst, Braunschweiger, turkey, fried mushrooms, onion rings and five cheeses, served on white bread.

In truth, it also included culinary favorites such as Paula Deens Lady's Brunch Burger made with Krispy Kreme donuts instead of a bun.

Sadly, the website is no longer in service, but at least I can console myself that as far as my wife is concerned I am still a child.
Giving away your youth - Childhood memory going to a website??? When I was a child the only webs we had were woven by spiders ar the webbing of a lawn chair!
HA HA HA HA HA!
Cranberry Sauce. Funny cause cranberries are low in CHO. So so much food/garbage has unnecessarily added sodium and carbs. Arg. Industrial revolution my ars. Damn twinkies
pretty much like everyone else it's the 3 P's - pizza, popcorn and pasta.
Sadly, for me, it's rice. I love it so ...
Stick with the long grain browns and reds and in modest quantities its not too hateful!
Pastas of any kind are a complete no no for me :( I miss it so much but I try not to eat it AT ALL!
I have to double my normal insulin:carb ratio for tortilla chips - and the salsa has to be bolused for too.

Weirdly enough, I can however halve my normal insulin:carb ratio for French fries. I found this out after consistently going hypo after McDonald's!
Krispy Kreme Donuts-Hot and Ready Now!
My home-made buttercream icing on White Almond Sour Cream Cake (I'm a hobbyist Cake Decorator and Type 1 Diabetic, LOL)
A fresh slice (or three) of French Bread
Caramel OR Peanut Butter Cake
Waffles without Syrup (I know, I eat pancakes w/out syrup either--matter of taste)
Ben & Jerry's Pistachio, Pistachio Ice Cream
Bruster's Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
Barbeque Pizza from Pizza Hut
Cornbread Dressing (with or without cranberry sauce, doesn't matter)
PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE!!!!!

I completely avoid--at least right now while I'm a newly diagnosed T1. I'm sure at some point I will have a serving of something on t his list. A SERVING. I am more aware now about serving size and just because you buy the pint of Ben & Jerry's DOESN'T mean you have to eat the whole thing in one sitting. I mean this is not a challenge....I've competed, "won" and ultimately have LOST.

I'm a sweetie...just love my sweets. But I know that I can live without those things and if I treat them as "treats" then I will be better off in the long run.
