We are using Peter pan whipped right now and it is pretty good it has 3 carbs per serving . Was wondering if there is a better one for lower carbs . Thanks

I love peanut butter and have tried a lot of natural peanut butters and it all taste like wall paper paste and it is very expensive. So I've decided just to stick with Peter Pan. I'll risk it and you can't beat 6 carbs (I don't subtract fiber).
Jim I agree with that we just got some planters and it has 6 grams also with 3 of that from sugar and it is better then the whipped . I think I could eat the whole jar at a time LOL
Doris I cant believe you dont like PB

Permalink Reply by Brian Wittman on July 13, 2012 at 3:59pm Reading this, I had to go to the kitchen for a hit. I eat Skippy, right out of the jar. According to the label, one serving is 2 Tbsp. I assume that means tablespoon. Each serving contains 7 grams of carbs. this is for Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter. I do know the low-fat Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter is twice the carbs per serving. My 88 year old mother, who is as diabetic as I am, believes the low fat is better. I'm not buying it.
Permalink Reply by acidrock23 on July 13, 2012 at 4:23pm We do Skippy too. ATK rated it the best and it works out well, doesn't require refrigertion or stirring or anything like that. I switched from lunch meat to peanut butter sandwiches at lunch last year, thinking it'd help fuel the running habit and like it a lot. We went hiking at Torrey Pines, CA last year and had peanut butter and MrsAcidRock and junior both agreed they felt energized from them. Maybe it was psychosomatic but I think it's good stuff!
