Just curious of the people on this site, what percentage of your life have you lived with diabetes?
I've lived with diabetes for 70% of my life. I'm 31 and was diagnosed with Type 1 at the age of 9.

98%. I am 42 (about to be 43) and diagnosed when I was 11 months old.
Permalink Reply by Brian Wittman on January 29, 2013 at 12:35am I really don't remember when I was diagnosed, but I must have been in my 30's. That would put me in about the 60 percentile of my life. It was a progressive disease for me. I began as a type 2 with little control, only to discover later that I am an LADA diabetic.

This is why I asked (diversity), so far we have ranged from 1% to 98%!

Permalink Reply by Trudy on January 29, 2013 at 5:17am About 23%. Since Celiac Disease came at the same time, I tend to think of things like, When was last time I didn't have to worry about what I could/should/would eat?
