What was your fasting Blood Sugar this morning?
Just curious what everyones fasting blood sugar was this morning. Mine was 133.

Hi, Mine was 5.1 mmol/l (which is 91 mg/dl I think). When I was first diagnosed I used to have high (over 7 and 8 and 9) fasting blood sugar levels which I couldn't understand, however since starting to exercise and change my diet it seems to have amde a difference to my fasting levels (which I read somewhere are the most important levels).

Keep up the good work Ziggy! Hopefully you'll be able to hold off on ever going onto insulin. I am sure you are the envy of Type 2 diabetics - that have to handle their BG control with not just diet/exercise but also prescription pills/and or insulin injections.

Mine was better then yesterday - 5.8 mmol/l (105 mg/dl).

99! Whoohooo! No weird spikes of blood sugars throughout the night, I think I finally got my basal set right for the night!
