Today I was on my way to the movies, and really noticed the beautiful green, lush grape vineyards. I was amazed just how beautiful they were against the blue sky.
I thought to myself how "grateful" I was to have my eyesight. It hit me hard....for some reason. I was just curious as to what others are grateful for each day.

Oh....I hope that this ocular migraine was not only an add on, but a sign of a new pattern. My triggers are many, hormonal (regardless of the fact that I am menopausal), strong scents, strobing, fluctuating lights, Red wine, oaked wine, low blood sugars, stress, extremes in temperature, smoke, constant loud noise, lack of sleep. There!
Oh yes, Natalie and Linda---I'm remembering a phrase I came across about wolves---a book by the poet Linda Hogan, I think, about wolves being rehabilitated. Their bonding/pack behavior includes "parallel walking." I just loved the phrase---we are parallel walking with our migraine histories!.....
Thankful for a God that Is Loving, Forgiving and understanding when My Faith is short.
Trying not to worry about my son and his diabetes. I need to trust and its so hard not to be worried.
I am soooo grateful/ happy Danny showed up ...on his 27 th diaversary !
I am grateful for choral music, and the ability to make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands.
Linda- I get these ocular or retinal migraines too. I discussed them with my eye doc on Tues. He said it is caused by a sudden constriction of the vessels in the eye lasts up to 30 min and then the vessels dilate and it disappears. I told him I get a yellow kidney shaped "blob" in the middle of my eyes and can' see anything for a few minutes. He said taking a Beta-blocker helps with the constriction. I do take a Beta- blocker ( metoprolol). He also said they aren't really dangerous. I hope this info is helpful.
Kindness and Compassion from others. Has made me stronger.
I am a 48yo male with type 1 since I was 3 and MS since I was 44. I am grateful foe my 29yo stepdaughter Louise Ann Aliberti from Brewster NY. I am now divorced from her mother but still love here even tough I am well over 100 miles away. I am on the medtronic Insulin Pump for 4 years now. I am thankful I am still living

Today is my 13th D-anniversary, and I am very grateful to be complication free after 13 years. When I look back over these 13 years they seemed to go quickly, but the days went very slowly. I am grateful to have so many friends here on TuD to talk to and share life with. We really are a family with D as the magnet drawing us together. I hope to be here for many more years giving and getting support. Thanks to all of you. Cat

Blessings, Catlover!

AWESOME Cat!! Happy for you dear friend :)

Let's see......today I'm thankful that I didn't kill my husband after he fell in the bathroom and whinned all day (AGAIN!!!) LOL!
