I haven't had a sugar bowl in my house since 1973.

Honestly i wouldn't do many things different except not worry- I mean I live a very healthy life- but knowing the burden isn't there would be good enough for me.
I would drink alcohol more probably- i rarely drink because of the diabetes.

I would eat lots of cake n chocolatess.....n icecream....n celebrate with my husband :) n help others to get cured n wld b very very happy....but the thought is only gud....

I will be happy to not have to spend so much money on medicine and will sleep better knowing that my pump won't be digging into my hip, thigh, tummy, shoulder...

Other than that... I am not sure I would do anything really different other than not have to count carbs (although I'd still have to watch what I eat to keep from packing on the pounds). I might run a marathon, knowing that I wouldn't have to deal with low BG throughout the training/race.

same here. i wouldnt have to run out of a softball game to make sure i wasnt dropping and risking passing out on the field. it would give me a piece of mind knowing i didnt have to do any of this anymore.

Go on a grand adventure, sleep on the beach and under the stars, drink wine and flirt with cute boys.  Travel to every corner of the world, find myself underwater, in the sky, mountain tops, in the earth, live and love myself again.  And yes, I would eat to my hearts content.

I would double the time of my usual run then enjoy a long, long (like real long) soak in the hot tub....and this would be great because I wouldn't have to worry about my pod falling off. Ever again.

However simple this may sound, one of the best joys would be not dealing with insurance issues anywhere near as much anymore. The companies act like I'm trying to rob them when I try to get ahold of my necessary supplies.

I would probably still carry around a meter and all my stuff just to be on the safe side!
