I used to be on the Cozmo and it was quiet as a mouse, I could bolus discreetly in a class or a library or wherever and not have to worry about people noticing. Now I'm on the Ping and the thing is SO LOUD! It makes that buzzy noise everytime I bolus, which makes me nervous having to use it at work when everyone's quiet or when I'm in the bathroom because someone might come in and hear it. I don't want to have to leave my desk just to go bolus after having a snack, but it seems like it's the only way to avoid people knowing exactly when I'm bolusing.

I know a lot of people on here are not at all self conscious of their diabetes and might say "so what?" but I'd rather not be known as the girl who makes robot noises all the time! Lol.

Are all Pings like this? The one I'm on now was a replacement after my last broke, and they both made loud boluses. Are other pumps these days just as loud or is it just the ping?
