Similar to the "You know you're a diabetic when...." this is "You know you have low blood sugar when...."

Today, mine was, "You know you have low blood sugar when you're in the supermarket, and you wander past the eggs half a dozen times while wondering, 'Where the @#$% are the eggs?'"

(For any of you who might do that when your blood sugar is perfectly normal, I was also feeling lightheaded and was perspiring heavily at the time!)

Sweat, shake, lightheaded and stupid! I can't believe some of the things I've done or said when I was low.

You know yo have low BG when you drive your scooter into a bin of food and almost knocked it totally to pieces.

When you wake up ranting about contractions. Words like weren't, isn't, can't etc. Especially when you really do not give a darn about contractions

When you insist that the room looks wobbly and floor looks like a nice place to hang out.

When you overwrite your dissertation files with a cartoon about superman.

When you put your pants on upside down.

When you call your wife and suggest that the roads may not be safe, because you are thinking of getting on them.

When you start watching infomercials because they are interesting

When your hands tremble at the sight of a jar of peanut butter

When the end of the day seems like a good time to pee your pants.

When you ask your mom to get that horse off your wall.

When you wake up and the sheets are soaking wet from your sweat.

When you yell at someone you love for no reason whatsoever.

You know when you are low when you just sit there knowing you have to move to get something to eat and all you can do is loll your head around and call 911.
