You know you are a diabetic when you have insulin in the fridge door where the butter is supposed to be.
I know this is a very old post but I had to say, after 10 years of marriage my wife still grumbles that she can't keep butter where it belongs!
Or when you get glucose tabs in you Christmas stocking. I'm 25 and my mom still does it! Haha
Awww Jen....that's so loving of your mom. I used to get care packages from my mom AND my grandmother when I was in university!!! Was 21ish it the time! I would tell them "I'm a big girl" now....but deep down always looked forward to them ;)
You know you're a diabetic on a pump when people ask you if that's you beeping.
when the food items are all around at home and wonder what items i can lay my hands, realise am a diabetic
...when the nurse does a finger prick on your nephew and not only does his face light up with joy but he offers to squeeze the blood out they're 'not doing it right.'

You know you're a diabetic when you get home from work and your wonderful hubby asks how your sugars were for the day, instead of how your day was.. :)

Couldn't get thru this without his support.

When putting in contacts seeing "dirt" on the lens right before putting it in, wash it, then checking to make sure the lens is clean realize that the "dirt" was the holes in the tips of my finger being magnified :D
I reserve my pinkies and ring fingers for sticks. (just those four fingers) It looks like I dipped the ends in pepper with all the little black marks.
- when you become adept at multiplying and dividing by 18
