But took stuck with the diabetes pattern (shots, tests, diet, md visits) Then finally grew up. When I got married (in 94), My wife got me into taking care of myself, and I wanted to learn more about this Diabetes that I had. So I studied and learned. and learned some more. My Endo things I am wise. Now even though I talk too much, I care and want to help others learn also. I started pumping (minimed) in 2000 and am still going. I check my BS 7+ times a day. I only got one complication, but it isn't that bad. I have Gastroparesis. I learned to watch what I eat, and when I ain't doing so good, eat soft, multi times a day, and relax. I am still going strong, and will never ever give up.
