I have BC/BS, and they are covered.

I also have UHC and they will cover as many strips as I want to use, but have had no luck with the lancet drums. This was their choice for meter's though as they wouldn't cover anythiing on the first on that the doctor gave me. The pharmacy called to find out which meter they would cover.

I have Mutual of Omaha and it did, but Liberty has not sent my strips and I've called them twice. Mutual is not selling Plan N to any new people, they told me and said they wouldn't mind if I changed insurance companies. ??? Their premiums went from about $129 per mo. to $206 in less than a year. Troubling. We are told we cannot be dropped because of pre-existing conditions, but can we be dropped for any other reason? They swore it was not personal. hmm.
