Rob-I just spoke to the pharmacy who gave me the incorrect info. They apologized and said they had a mix up and the strips being discontinued were for the Accu-Chek advantage and comfort curve strips. I did straighten them out. I am so glad I was able to find out the truth from you. I am very grateful.
Oh no! I'm sorry I didn't see that. Please feel free to message me directly. For whatever reason, I didn't see your original message, but I always get direct notification of a message in my inbox. Good news, I've just confirmed that the product is NOT being discontinued. It is a very important part of our portfolio, and there are no plans to cancel it.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Have a great weekend!
Hello all. Let me see if I can get some answers for you on availability. I am not aware of the drums being discontinued, but I want to double check to make sure. Stay tuned. Thanks!
Have had a very frustrating time with my Accu-Chek Mobile over the past few months, only to discover that the damned things don't work with Lithium batteries! Posting this here as a PSA of sorts: when your Accu-Chek needs new batteries, make sure you replace them with Alkaline batteries (or call Accu-Chek directly to get replacements sent out). Lithium batteries will cause an almost constant E-3 error. Chemists and the Accu-Chek help line don't seem to understand or check this information as a first step.
I've used an Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter for the past few years. It's a great meter, since it's all-in-one. But I just learned that the test strips cost has increased roughly $45 in a single month.
At first, I assumed the price increase was due to some kind of change in coverage from my insurance company. But the insurance rep said the higher cost of the strips was/is straight from the manufacturer. So I called Accu-Chek, and the rep said they had simply increased the price of the Compact Plus strips. None of Accu-Chek's other meters increased in price at all; just the Compact Plus strips. Has anyone else noticed a price increase on these strips?
I use the Accu-Chek Aviva and I have no problems with it at all love the Accu-Chek FastClix I have i set on 1 and I don't feel it at all
