Hi Here's their website. Sadly they don't have online discussion forums or chat groups, besides the one for parents of diabetic kids (SweetkidsSA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com). They do have a listing of all the support groups in South Africa though.

They also send out a monthly magazine. The magazine has all the contact details for all the companies that supply diabetics in South Africa. They advertise new diabetic products too. It's nice to find out if there's a new type of low GI cereal or whatever.

I am (was) a member since 2002 - haven't received the magazines lately. They do not respond to the email address on the website. I got another email from someone who is a secretary/receptionist or something at Diabetes SA in CT she gave me this address: capewc@diabetessa.co.za or you could call on 0214254440.
