The prime reason i relocated to the US is my health. I was diagnosed with Type- 1 14 years ago, I spent 7 of those 14 years in Africa. It became apparent at the start that I wouldnt go too far with my health for reasons common to most developing nations; poor healthcare delivery, electricity to mention just a few. Example; There were at least on 2 occasions when i got what i thought was Insulin, but was actually water in Insulin vial.
Was your health part of the reasons you relocated or was it for other reasons. What difference has it made-I mean leaving home. Are there ways to help diabetes back on the vast continent. I'll love to read from you.
