I use the inset30 on my daughter it is awesome - works so great for her compared to the others. I was freaked out by the insertion process at the start. After the first two insertions....it's like riding a bike! Actually - I think I do a better job with the inset30 insertions than I do the regular insets! Go figure. If I can do it...so can you! :)

I tried the 30s for awhile. I liked it, but my sugars didn't. I guess I had trouble getting it into the correct position every time. So I went back to using the regular Inset and all is fine.

I used the Insets and Inset 30's alternately for awhile after I got my pump and finally decided I prefer the Inset 30's. I seem to have more successful insertions with them and most of all I love having the little window where I can actually see the canula insertion point to notice if there is a visible problem.

I found the auto insertion on the Inset 30 to be much easier than the 90 degree Inset. Call Animas and ask for a free sample.

I've been using the inset 30 for 3 years now and LOVE it! I do not have a lot of fat tissue, so the angled insert has been fabulous. The insertion is not rough at all, actually. Smooth and slick!

If you go to the Unomedical web site there is a great visual product guide that has diagrams that take you through the insertion process step by step.

I like my Inset 30's. Allows for inserting into hard to reach places and offers more site choices where there is less fat than is comfortable w the straight in ones. Inserter works great.
