How do people deal with spa days? I don't want to wear the pump while in the swimming pools, hot and cold tubs, sauna and steam room so I am going to disconnect. But I'm not sure if I should keep suspending the pump at different intervals or what. How do you handle a day like this?

How long are you going to be disconnected? Last time I was in Mexico my wife and I did a couples massage at the resort. The massage was about an hour and we went about 45 minutes early to enjoy the saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and (although I didn't enjoy it) the cold dip. I just stayed disconnected the entire time, set the basal to -90% for 2 hours, and left the pump locked in the locker.. When I came back I did a bolus for the insulin I missed.

That's my only experience with any spa. If you were going to be there more than 2 hours you can most likely get back to your pump somewhere in the middle to do a small bolus. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, you're there to relax!
