I loved the idea of the CGM with Medtronic which is why I had my doctor switch me from the Animas to Medtronic. Due to the fact that I live in South Florida and love going to the beach and to the pool, I'm thinking I should of stayed with Animas. My Animas pump is still under warrenty until 2015, do you think my insurance will go back to paying for supplies with Animas?

I'm fairly certain that your insurance will pay for supplies with whomever your doctor prescribes. However, I would call to make sure.

You make an interesting point. I have been thinking of switching for the MM CGM too, but have not done so as I like the idea that I can get my pump wet. I do take mine off for swimming, but at times it may get wet if I am sailing etc. Were you happy with the Medtronic pump itself?

I am sure they would. I think that if you contacted your insurance company and tell them what you want to do, they would comply. Animas may even contact your insurance company for you when you reorder Animas supplies.
