I totally understand Andrew. We do have problems, sometimes more sometimes less which need more. it sounds like your doctor wrote it for "change every 3 days". Animas encouraged me to have my doctor rewrite it for every 2 days citing "irritation at site" (they really know I only change every 3 but were telling me how to have the doctor word it so they can legally give it to me every 2 day's worth. I realize now my assumption was right and Animas has their hands tied by legalities. But there is no reason they can't be polite!

Andrew, Animas can't supply you with extras unless the have a prescription for it. Talk with your endo and ask him to write one for more.

Well had my biggest issue ever with a animas lady this morning, i emailed them about my order wanting to get a extra box or 2 of infusion sets because sometimes absorption doesnt seem to work so i have to change them a bit sometimes 2-3 in 1 day and she gives me a you are only allowed 30 sets per 90 days crap which almost immediately makes me wanna flip out and tell them i pay a good bit of money to have what i will def need and on top of that i didnt even get a sorry or thank you which seriously has me doubting now their customer service, though its the 1st problem i have had.

So i used my stomach for sets for like 2-3 months and recently got it working in my thigh area... im curious on the waiting time before i can go back to my midsection?? or rather where my insulin will absorb like it should

I put two coats on, drying after each swipe. In almost six years of pumping I have lost only a couple sets.

I found that the IV300 dressing helped secure the site to weird locations. Also a HUGE difference was made when I would wait for the IV Skin prep to DRY before putting the site on. it's like putting glue on the two opposing sides and waiting for it to dry before adhering them to one another. Something in the bonding process.
