Hi all, I am totally new here! I am wondering if there are any former OmniPod users here who have now switched to Animas. I am considering the Animas for my 11 year old son. Is it true that the dosing precision of the Animas is better than OmniPod? I love the tubeless idea of the OmniPod and I hear the PDM is easier to use than the Ping. We have met all the sales reps (Medtronic as well) and seen all the device up close, but it is hard to really know what it will be like in reality. Any feedback about Animas vs. OmniPod is appreciated!

As of yesterday morning I am now officially an Animas Vibe Pumper. The transition went as smoothly as you could ask for and my Medtronic 722 has been stowed in the cupboard.

I just received a 3 mo supply of INSETS and Cartridges for my PING from Animas. I called and placed the order and 4 days later UPS delivered my package of supplies. Thank you Animas, Medicare HMO Blue, and UPS.

Hi Kelsey, I'm curious to know if you had features or ways of doing things on the Medtronic and Cozmo pumps that you don't have and miss on the Animas Ping?

Also are their features and ways of doing things on the Animas Ping that you didn't have on the previous pumps and like much better now that you have them?

I'm on my second ping having switched from medtronics. Recently submitted a request to T-Slim. I heard from them initially, but now nothing. Will probably stick with ping - it's good for water-sports. My only complaint is that silly belt clip they make - they simply don't last, and a few customer service issues, but other than that, it's been a great pump.

Congrats, Kelsey! Glad you like your Ping.

Hi! Just started my Ping today after four months of fighting for it. I've had diabetes 31 years, pumping for 11 years with Medtronic and Cozmo. So far so good....

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
