i dont have autism but my aunt has down syndrom and my mom works at a middle school with autism. I dont see why people treat them differently. they're just like us, mabey even cooler. i hate it when my mom comes hom and tells me some kid was bulling a kid with autism. i feel so bad for that person, People with autism are just more unique

I just did a Google search for hyperlexia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlexia

Finally, some information on a possible cause for the problems I have in remembering much that is spoken by people who talk especially fast, for more than about 1 minute. For example, most of the people I hear on a TV.

Hi Punk, youre welcome.

Mercury has frequently been blamed for most autism cases, but here's an opposing view saying that the methods of detecting mercury are now so sensitive that they're often detecting the natural traces of mercury in food:

Hi Robert,
thanks for your information there are so many things that they think may cause autism or help with it.My experience has been to get Dane as much help as possible. He did a lot of early intervention when he was younger and Im sure they worked mainly with his communication skills. There was a stage when I thought he would never be able to do that but no he is just the opposite he talks too much!!LOL
Every day he is still learning something new, and he still has his traits but I know he has made a lot of progress.
I hope that you can get some sort of diagnosis it does give you some focus then and you can address the problems that present to you.
Talk to u soon
Kim
