I really love my contour glucose is easy to read and it only requires little blood sample........

I just got this meter last week and love it. Easy to use and read. It has some advance features but nothing complicated. Just what I like. My insurance covers it, which is great. Before I had this option I was using the relion meter, which I really have to give props to those people, it's a really good meter and if you can't afford a meter or strips that one really is the way to go. The only slight irritant with this contour meter is wasting the occasional strip or two not getting enough blood, seems like this happens more than other meters I've used, but I think it's just getting use to the size, ect.

Does anyone else find that you get conflicting blood glucose results if you retest immediately after getting an alarmingly unusually high or low result? I use a different finger to prick each time, but does that often give a different result?

I just bought 10 Contours for $14.99 each at Walgreens and 7 of them came with free A1C meters. with my coupons they were FREE (paid .90 tax each) and I got $50 back in Register Rewards AND 10 Walgreens coupons for $5 off the Contour strips.

I can't use the coupon for the Controur Strips... PM me if you want them.
