Welcome Ya'll

Welcome to the Deep South where the tea is always sweet and the blood sugars tend to run high.

Grab a rockin' chair and have a seat on the porch. I'll pour you up a glass of iced tea (sweetened with Splenda these days) and we will chat a spell...

I currently live in Colorado, but am from the DEEP south--Pass Christian MS (on the Coast)/New Orleans. I still consider myself a southern belle :) Cute group!

Hello all,
I'm a georgia "peach" or "nut", if you will :) I've always lived in Northeast Georgia, but i've done quite a bit of traveling as well.

Hi Dee Dee (that's my baby sis's nick name too! Short for Deidre), thanks for the invite to the group!

I may have been born a "California Girl", but my roots are deep in the South!! My dad is from Mississippi, and his side of my family has been in the South for many generations. At least since the early 1800's (learned by researching my Genealogy)!!

Growing up, from the day I turned 5, I spent my summers here in Georgia with my Grammie (my mom's mom), who moved here from Cali in the late 60's. So when I moved back here in June '98, it was like coming home, to me. Guess I've always been a "Southern Girl" aka "Belle", at heart! ;0)
