Just wanted to check in and relate my experiences with 10 mcg of Byetta after six months.
I initially started off with 5 mcg for two months with a bang. Hunger was dulled for two months. Record low #'s.
which rose and necessitated the full dosage of 10 mcg.
Once again this worked well for about four months. For the last two months my body seems to be building up a tolerance to it and I'm having to watch my carbs more than usual and step up the excercise.Weight is not an issue with me as I am 6'3" and 210#.

My number one complaint lately is constipation. I power vegetables, water and metamucil sugar free formula with limited success. That's one thing I miss with my old regimen of Metformin,Glipizide XL and Januvia.

Anyway,I'll try and monitor and contribute to this site more frequently.

Thanks'
Dave
