Hi, I'm in Williams Lake, British Columbia.
Greetings Christine! Where abouts in B.C. is Williams Lake???
Hi Linda
Williams Lake is middle south BC also know as Cariboo Country. It's about
2 hours South of Prince George and 2 hours North of Kamloops, our 2 big cities after Vancouver.
It's a forestry town and cattle ranches. Although we have a great tourist attraction every year end of June
beginning July, the Williams Lake Stampede. Williams Lake is situated around the lake, which is great for summer and winter sports. Living with diabetes here isn't great. We have 1 diabetic nurse who is run off her feet, the same with our dietitian. It's been hard getting information and advice, Things are better now that I have found tudiebetes, Take Care
I'm glad that you've connected with tu.diabetes....especially when you're in such a remote community (though the area sounds beautiful!). I think this is a SUPERB site....having access to others with the same concerns....worldwide!!!!!!
