I stumbled up this while looking for a letter I could use to send to my MLA but the link above doesn't work...is there anyway you could post it again?
It worked thanks!
The Newfoundland and Labrador government is currently holding pre-budget consultations. It is important that they understand how important it is to expand the insulin pump program beyond age 25 AND include the coverage of CGM for those who wish to use one. Please consider contacting them at email@example.com Cc: firstname.lastname@example.org; SusanSullivan@gov.nl.ca
I have a standard letter outlining the benefits and cost savings if anyone needs a copy. It is the letter that I have submitted.http://www.facebook.com/notes/barb-wagstaff/pre-budget-committee-su...
Thanks Barb , the advocate . I am using some of your info in the letter I am writing to the Nova Scotia MLA's who need to know about pumps and me at age 72 living with D almost 30 years and going strong . ..why re-invent the wheel ?? and you said it sooooo well .
Thanks so much Nel!! Hopefully it will help us to create some real change everywhere!!!
As you may have heard, Albertans are about to go to the polls on April 23. A canadidate for PC leadership included funding insulin pumps in his platform but unfortunately lost to Alison Redford.
Please join me keeping this issue alive and lobbying the leaders of parties as well as the candidates in your area to pledge to provide public funding for insulin pumps.
