I am a parent and a wife of type 1's and I have type 2.... David was just diagnosed in March. What about you?
Well my parents have a kid with type one... Haha, I'm so naughty. :D
Our family has diabetes, my daughter, who is now 11 months old, was diagnosed at 8 months. It's been a challenge the last 3 months trying to figure out if she's crying due to diabetes or is it just because she's 11 months old. But, everyone is doing great with it.
Yes, And we live close to ya. We are from Niagara Falls. Feel free to add myself or my wife as a friend if you feel like talking.

anyone on cgm here? lots of americans talking about it, but i wonder if it is covered here, and what your experiences are...i think my son is too small to deal with two infusion sites - he is 5 and using an animas pump. it's great.
My son Liam was diagnosed with type 1 in 2000 when he was 2 years old. He has been using a Cozmo pump for the past 4+ years and loving it!
My son was diagnosed on July 17th with Type 1. He is six years old. It is been quite the adjustment. But we have had excellent support from our health care team.
