I met with my Diabetes Nurse yesterday and she mentioned the new CGM coming out maybe in the fall. She said the information she has is that the insertion will be much easier & less painful and that it is more accurate. Anyone heard if/when this might be available in Canada? Just curious as it sounds a heck of a lot better than the current one. If so, any idea of price? Do Medtronic give any discounts to those using their current CGM?

I'd like to know as well, I just bought a new CGM transmitter a month ago, if I had known they were coming out with a new one I probably would have waited but they didn't say anything when I called. Can you use the transmitter with this? Is it just new sensors?

What little I know : MM showed the upgrade CGMS at the NAGM of the CDA ( Toronto ) this past October 2011 .As recent as May 2012 I asked a MM rep personally , when this would become available ..."Health Canada has not reported back about the Enlite "...
