Permalink Reply by PJtype2 on January 25, 2011 at 10:19am How high is in terms of emergency 26 mmol and how long until medical issues arise at 15 mmol constantly? What would the issues be initially? If you have a reading o 26mmol/l there is a possibility of diabetic ketoacidosis, this mostly occurs to type 1 individuals or LADA , what happens is there is no insulin in the blood the liver signals for ketosis(fat burning) ketone levels rise the combination of high BG and ketones is a very serious condition.Buy some ketone strips from your pharmacyand test for ketones get your Dr to order a GAD test.

Permalink Reply by PJtype2 on January 25, 2011 at 10:54am I lately have been doubling the dose of metformin to two 500 mg pills three times a day and think that is too much so backed off to the prescribed 500 mg 3 times a day.
