CDA Kids Camps ...one of my reasons , why I participate with Team Diabetes and raise funds for the Association ...and plan to continue as long as I am able , so more kids can go to Camps ...a very safe place and a chance for the Parents to have a break !!

The back of the Camp T-shirt says it all .Regretfully I will not attend , due to distance ...my reason for fund raising through Team Diabetes however goes on .Dr. John Hunt , Co founder and Medical Director , 1962 will be on hand !...Have FUN all .

Do you have any information about these camps?? It's the first I have heard of it and it might be something our little guy might like to do.

the info is on the CDA site, registration is fairly early in the year - they also have a family camp at the end of the summer

I second what SuzP said , Theo ...do give Canadian Diabetes Ass'n , Vancouver a call ? ...I think one has to have reached the age of 7 to attend Camp ??...it gives Caregivers ( Moms and Dads ) a very important break too !

at Theo ...did you call the Association at 1-800-665-6526 and if you are local 604.732.1331 ...apologies, I don't have an extension number ...please let me know , if you like me to find out ...thanks
