I actually use the relion meter from the US sometimes because the test stips are super cheap (we have no insurance). I am able to manage but I don't really like dealing in 2 different measurements. Someone posted that the US sensors are compatible with the UK ones?
Stacey , did I understand Terry correctly during today's discussion ?? Quebec NOT using the mmol/L measurement , hence Health Canada's reluctance to approve the Dexcom ???
Was Natalies in the audience too ??
Permalink Reply by Stacey Chipka on April 11, 2013 at 5:21pm That's what I thought I heard too, and something about being able to toggle between the two? I'll have to listen to that part again, just to make sure. I took away from that, that it was more because it had to be in French and English. I'm not sure of Natalie was there, too? I guess we'll see soon enough if it is going to be the middle of the year. We're awfully close!
If indeed that is the case , then why did Dexcom " blame " Health Canada ...we have been bilingual for many moons ..was Dexcom not aware ...that's sad and bad business practice !! I love to hear your take on this, after you listen to today's discussion ..N
