I am wondering if anyone has had any problems with Humolog going bad? I had a very frustrating weekend of high blood sugars, changing infusion sites, using injections and using 3 times as much insulin as I normally would! I went out last night and bought a new bottle of humolog and voila! Problem solved. The bottle I was using was not exposed to heat and was almost new, and not funny looking. Anyone had similar problems? I reviewed all warning labels on the insert but can't see what is going on.

I have had this problem before, sometimes it's just a bad batch I guess. Did you leave it in a fridge? Sometimes my fridge freezes without me noticing overnight. I guess it could also be possible that something happened in between it being recieved at the pharamcy and them selling it to you? Lots of varriables.

i use mdi for my humalog and only once have i ever had an issue like that...i would agree with ladybell89, probably just a bad batch; i do not keep my insulin vials in the fridge and throw them out after 4 weeks...glad you seem to have sorted things out :)
