Permalink Reply by Chris on May 11, 2012 at 7:13am Yes I did run. I started running just before my daughter was diagnoses with T1D. It became my "release" after and I just kept it up. This was my first race and I loved it. Amazing experience. I wish you all the luck in Amsterdam. You running 5K, half of full marathon?
Thanks Chris !
8KM ...there is no 5 km available according to Team D's info and the Marathon website
Full has to be completed in 6 hours, 1/2 in 3 hours ...my fastest 1/2 M. as a walker was 3 hours 7 min. ( and 4 plus years younger) ...the 8 km will have to be completed within 70 min .. so I will have to step it up and have the D " under control" :)
