Hi There Kanata Boy and Melody!! Welcome to Tud and it's good to meet you both. I am in Ottawa too. Wonderful city(except for the construction, of course...:D ).

I wish you both and ALL Canadians a Happy Thanksgiving long week-end with Family and/or Friends and yummy food( small portions and more Insulin for me anyways :P ). It's one of my favourite times of year. We have a lot to be grateful for.

Kanata:
Cool! Have you heard of the Diabetes Action Network? They host talks / lectures / etc every few months in the Ottawa area. They have one coming up later this week - a Medtronic Rep is giving a presentation on the new enlite sensor. I can fwd you the details if you'd like!

Hello all, from Prince George, BC. I've had my insulin pump for a year, best A1c in years, 7.2 Also starting to walk and run, because I can finally control my bloodsugar and reduce my basal amounts :) Before, I had Humulin r and nph, which really hindered my exercise attempts.
