Hi Melody. No, I haven't. I checked their website, but didn't see anything about it. Could you give me more details? I've tried to contact the diabetes action network too, but haven't heard anything back. Any tips?

Hi Cora! Nice to meet you! :)

JDRF Ottawa is hosting an event at the Science & Tech museum on Nov 30th. It's about families and coping with diabetes - have you heard about it?

Hi Kanata Boy and friends, I'm a bit late to the party - I'm in Stittsville. Thanks for the info about the DAN.

Hi There Kanata Boy and Melody!! Welcome to Tud and it's good to meet you both. I am in Ottawa too. Wonderful city(except for the construction, of course...:D ).

I wish you both and ALL Canadians a Happy Thanksgiving long week-end with Family and/or Friends and yummy food( small portions and more Insulin for me anyways :P ). It's one of my favourite times of year. We have a lot to be grateful for.
