Carb Counting by Example

Correct carb counting is very important. The members of this group can present pictures of their meals and the estimated carb counts. This way we can improve our judgement and learn to overcome common mistakes by sharing our experiences.

Some hints

- the more this group grows the more people will orient themselves to people with similar eating habbits. Thus I think it is better to have one discussion per day and person called like 'Person - Date - Day'. So if I am interested what Holger eats at Sundays I could for example search for 'Holger Sunday' in this group. Following this concept every meal of the person at that day is a reply to the discussion the person started.

- if you want to post your meals just occasionally then you can create a discussion called 'Person - my eating habbits' or something like that. There you can add every meal you have eaten in one place.

- unless the TuDiabetes team recommends otherwise the image size is 1024x768 as jpg.

- every eating style is welcome here. The focus is not healthy eating but pure carb counting with fun.

Yeah Reed - ditto on what Marsha has said about you being the poster boy for diabetes! You'd probably put me in detention when you were in school, as I am still learning how to carb count and make sure my insulin dosage is correct. It's always a learning game, but it's kept me on my toes all these years!
BTW, noticed you live in Saint Augustine. Almost made it there when we were in FL a few weeks ago. I've been there a few times, and would love to live there.
