Thanks Karin, the speakers are really down to earth, one of them is Bob Hanisch and he is a great champion for those of us with diabetes (I think it is easier to say Diabetics but for some reason people think that it is a label, thoughts?) and makes it really easy to follow an exercise program. It is a very casual and inviting atmosphere, not a "lecture"

If anyone is interested, JDRF of SE WI will be hosting one of their transition series events on Wednesday, May 11th at 3333 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa from 6-8 pm. The topic is exercise and nutrition. Adults, parents, and children are invited to attend. RSVP to slange@jdrf.org by Monday.

Would anyone like to get together sometime this month? We could meet at the Midtown Pub on Allen Blvd in Middleton. I think meeting with other adult diabetics would be helpful. No fees. No guilt. No pressure. No donations. Just conversation and beverages and food (it's a pub). Fun and discussion of possibilities.
